Post Traumatic Wallpaper Scraping Syndrome? Here is another option!

Need a cure for post traumatic wallpaper scraping syndrome?  If you've ever had to scrape off wallpaper, you've suffered from this, right? I have!  Using paint and stencils - you can get the same look BUT without the fear of having to scrape it off in the future when your style changes.  This post will give you an idea what I've been up to.  :)  Great minds think alike!  Nicole from Design Blooms created a beautiful stenciled wall in her bedroom. I love the colors and the design she created is beautiful.

Here is her bedroom before (love the relaxing colors and that bedding!):
Here you can see the stencil she created (inspired by a photo in Cottage Living).  She traced it to create a continuous pattern and painted it in.  Patience!
And here are her after photos.  Isn't is a beautiful change?  I love it!
Fantastic job, Nicole!  Thanks for sharing!
I love a lot of the new wallpaper patterns coming out but I suffer from post-traumatic wallpaper removal.  There has been way too much wallpaper scraping in my lifetime (including the ceiling) so I like this option much better.  I'm working on doing the same in my daughter's room using my damask Cutting Edge Stencil and hope to share it next week!
