It's time for the Silhouette May Promotion! For May Silhouettte has a great Heat Transfer Bundle offered at a fantastic discount using the discount code "SHOWOFF" at Silhouette America. For $219 you'll receive:
1 Silhouette SD
1 package white flocked heat transfer material
1 package teal smooth heat transfer material
1 package dark pink smooth heat transfer
All for $219!
My project was inspired by Maggie at Midwestern Sewing Girl. (See her cute bike pillow.) She reminded me that I had a bike image from my nephew's chalkboard project and I was inspired to use the image again.
Cut the image according to package instruction settings. (Mirror/flip image - especially when doing lettering and words.)
Peel away the 'negative' heat transfer from the clear backing.
Place image (clear side up) onto fabric.
Cover with a piece of fabric and iron (cotton setting). Press hard.
Peel away clear plastic side. (If heat transfer stick to clear plastic, replace and iron again.)
Cut fabric to fit project. This a gift so I'm not sure if it'll go on a pillow or canvas or go in a frame or if we'll add a word or something but it's so simple to do!
The Silhouette Heat Transfer bundle is $219 with the discount code SHOWOFF at Silhouette America! If you already have a Silhouette - you can use the above code to get 25% off heat transfer!
Promo ends 5/24/11.
If you don't have a Silhouette, I'd love to help you start your next small DIY project using the supplies I have in stock! I might even enclose a personalized gift as well! You'll have to work just a little for it.
